50 EVENTS, 5787 VOLUNTEERS, 19082 VIEWERSHIP & 99967 FOLLOWERS, no it's not my personal figure of audience sadly but these are the efforts of MENTAL HEALTH FOUNDATION of INDIA. Appallingly, out of 1409.56 (in Millions), which is the current population of INDIA in 2022, 90 (in Millions) are suffering from some mental disorder or the other, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). 

These figures keenly depicts the need of mental health stabilization, in not only India but all over the world, but there's only a bucket full mindset who believe in the concept of Mental Health. India is a country where people believe in HOODOO but not in MENTAL HEALTH, grievously. Jokingly the least highlighted and the most underrated health, especially in India is the topic we are going to carry forward today. 

WHAT IS MENTAL HEALTH?

It is the state of mind, when an individual results ADAPTIVE, PRODUCTIVE and EFFICIENT in all the situations, right in front of him. Mental health is a whole package of emotional, psychological & social well being, which is reflected by the way we think, act and feel. It is reflected by the way we handle stress, workload, anxiety and pressure. Mental Health is a key factor to be put on check at all the stages of life, no matter you are 7 or 70, it is important to put a check on it. 

SYMPTOMS OF DISORDER

  • SLEEP & APPETITE DISORDER - The unusual change in sleep cycle or loss or excess of appetite are few initial stage symptoms of mental health degradation.
  • MOOD SWINGS - No, I am not talking about periods, but a unusual and lightning fast change in your mood most of the time is also an alert for a check.
  • FUNCTIONING - The gradual withdrawal of mind at work, lazy attitude towards your curricular activities, less participation in social gathering, is also matter of fact. 
  • NERVOUSNESS - Low confidence and determination towards new tasks is even a step towards check.
  • DEPRESSION - It is the biggest sign of mental health disorder and high time for strict action. Loneliness and silence alongwith lost taste of happiness is something we call depression

CURE & CARE

There are more than 200 types of mental health disorder, and each of them have a unique method of diagnosis and treatment. Broadly speaking, the major cause of this disorder is our lifestyle. In this fast changing world, we are so indulged in the pace so badly that we actually bottom the major factors of life. Allopathy is ultimate solution to it, but there are even few steps we can take everyday for this changing lifestyle, they are cited below - 
  • Learn to manage stress.
  • Don't search for happiness, create one.
  • Stay away from toxicity & search positivity.
  • Start your day with some ME TIME instead of devoting to phone.
  • Practice breathing exercises and meditation.

Mental Health is the integral factor of one's life and ignorance can be even deadly to some cases. Just imagine a body with absence of mind, crazy right, soulful actions require sound mind and body.   7. Well to maintain my good health I just don't give a damn about what people are saying about me cuz at the end of the day only I will matter! And I know many poeple are in depression because they care about what society is thinking about them or what gossip is going around of them. We should stay positive and care about the one's who are careing for us. If someone is being a bitch then show who the fuck you are instead of taking stress. Well many people are depressed about the fact that his or her gf or bf left them but you have to understand the fact that people come and go and eventually you will find better.and this time is gonna paas soon. Remember you and your self respect is important not others.
    Well that's how I handle my mental health by not giving a fuck about negative peopleπŸ€—
